Windows Store download is for XBO. In all the legit PC versions the episodes are streamable only.
So the only mode to play this game offline is with the XBO version? Mayhap one twenty-four hour period they'll patch it to let the states download the episodes on PC.

Streaming only is corking and all, right up until you lot get the "Unable to stream" fault. I'thou seeing this now. Has Remedy / Microsoft abased support for this feature? I'm having to endure the abysmal Windows Store version of this game with all its ludicrous performance problems on my i7 8700K, 16Gb Ram and GeForce 1070, and now this 'Unable to stream' error is merely one more case of what a lame job Remedy did with the Store version.

I oasis't played the game in over a year so can't say if it was updated merely this was a problem on the Steam version also. Hopefully they let it to cache offline now =/ they were really swell episodes too.

am also on the Windows 10 version. can't stream. i'1000 guessing the servers are downwards, and it'due south abandoned, breaking the game forever. fantastic.
I recently bought the game and have non been able to watch the game's first episode yet. When I endeavor to scout it, it simply does nothing and then shuts my game off returning me to Windows. I oasis't had a desire to continue the game which is unfortunate. I love Remedy's Max Payne games and Alan Wake very much but this game has been an irritating experience thus far. I promise they never design game like this again. I detest this streaming, online dependent design.

I simply watched the offset streamed video and it worked without major problems (apart from some connection-related jitter, but similar to Netflix and co.) - I hope you are incorrect in your assumption about the game beingness abandoned every bit I bought information technology recently and while an unusual gaming experience, I similar the plot and so far. :-)
dang, i tried again. still won't stream. maybe they only screwed the MS Store version. i might rebuy information technology on Steam when it's on sale, and then.
